Sr. Graphic designer / Design Project Manager (The Hague Region)
27-01-2012 (Mediavacature) MultinationalFor our customer, an international organisation in the The Hague region, we are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer/ Design Project Manager. We are looking for a candidate who has worked as a designer and has broad experience managing the design process and related projects in a customer facing position. Your main responsibilities are:Translate the concept in a clear plan of approach and visual proposal;Guide and advise customers in the area of cost effective solutions and house style;Assess if all building blocks are available. If necessary (in close cooperation with the customer) you think up alternative scenario’s;Responsible for the full lifecycle of a project. You will always keep the overview, monitor the budget, progress and quality;Liaising with the customer throughout the project life cycle to ensure they are aware of progress, approvals, costs, etc.Attract new customers and maintain existing relations.The split will be approx. 30% concept design, 20% account management, 50% project management.Candidate profileMinimal BA level of education, Academy of Arts or equivalent;Minimal 5 years of (agency) working experience in a dynamic, preferably international, media environment, coupled with an outstanding portfolio;Minimal 2-3 years of experience managing design projects in a customer facing position;Excellent knowledge of the latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office and printing process;Excellent knowledge of the English language – either your mother tongue, or obtained by working several years abroad or in an international (English-speaking) environment.Strong interpersonal and customer relation skills;You are available full time – 40 hrs/week.An Assessment might be part of the application process.Salary and benefits are in line with the market.
